Environment Awarness Campaign 2011


Environment Awareness Campaign for the year 2011 is launched in the school on the 6th and the 7th of April 2011 formally. The programme is opened on the 6th April which is marked with a number of competitions comprising of drawing, painting and essay writing among different categorised sections. It is also got an important task like planting of trees, distribution of leaflets among the citizens of the locality.

On the following day that is on the 7th of April- a number of deliberations are made from the teachers and Resource persons invited from different institutions especially on the occasion. The main Resource person of the day   was Mr. Subrata Pal, a PGT of Department of School Education currently posted at BBI, Dharmanagar.

To make the programme gross successful, Mr. P K Chanda, the Teacher in the charge of the programme arranged a projector to facilitate the learners to enjoy the programme with the help of audio, vision and motion of pictures.
The programme of the day, i.e. of the 7th of April started with the Welcome Speech of the Head of the Institution- Mr. R S Debabrata Chakma. It was followed by the well knit speech of Mr. Buddha Sankar Deb, one of the Science teachers of the school. Mr. Deb, emphasised on the preservation of Environment as well as the ways to allowing to leave the atmosphere undisturbed for greater benefit of mankind.

Later on, Mr Subrata Pal spoke at length. He had (two) topics prepared for the children of the school and the neighbouring (learners from neighbouring schools had also been invited to attend the congregation). The first topics he spoke, was of Environment. He began his well knit speech with the creation of life on earth and its history. It was mingled with slides and sound and videos. The second topic was about Disaster and its preparedness. This topic was selected by Mr. Chanda to help us learn about disaster management so that minimum level of damage in term of lives is caused if there arises any emergency.

The motivating and interesting programme was over with the speech of the Chairman of the programme Mr. Jagadish Chandra Bhowmik, one of the senior teachers of the school.
It is worth mentioning that owing to the presence of Madhyamik Examination 2011 (the state level Class X Examination), the programme had to be delayed by a forth-night which is really regrettable.

Result of Class XI declared today

DSCM H S School, Kanchanbari, North Tripura, has declared the result of Class XI Annual Examination today at 16:00 hours local time. The school authority has declared passed to 148 students out of 167 students who have sat for the annual examination this year.
It is worth mentioning that the declared result of the learners is not up to the mark this year. The following are the name of the students who have bagged the first 5(five) top positions in the class-
