National Service Scheme of the school has started in the school in the year 200. Since its inception, many good works at village level is undertaken by the unit.
It is running impeccably by the young and energetic Programme Officer Mr. Pankaj Kanti Chanda. Mr. Chanda has replaced Mr. Sailendra Kumar Chanda who has been promoted and currently placed under the control of Inspector of Schools, Gournagar and Kumarghat Block, Kailashahar.
